From my study or read of the Bible, I have found out that in most cases, it gives a two sides to anything written in it. It's probably why there's a new and old testament. But that being the case, if I'm sincere, I take almost everything I've read in the Bible with a grain of salt.
It’s the smart way to go about it. Think about it, there are 5 major denominations of Christianity and like 1500 that sprout that and most fall under the protestant reformation. If Christians can’t even agree to what is said in the text then there is a major issue with the book.
