He’s super older and he was thinking about the old days when churches were in charge of the block grant monies.

I am loving this for the obvious reasons but also others like knowing how white folks are gonna be triggered. And also that California is a bellwether state, white folks know if the nations biggest state is paying the federal government isn't far behind.

I love reading the comments on articles and white folks saying "It will never happen" LOLOL. White southerners were saying the same about Jim Crow.

I only wish an uncle of mine was still alive. Korean war vet, FBA, 1/4 Cherokee originally from Tulsa, I have to assume his parents survived the race riot. I never asked, he never talked about it. He'd be tinkled pink over it. He treated me like a son when I moved to LA a few months out of college. This is for you, Unc.

I hope this is not some election year ploy. I really hope not. Although I don't live in California, I would be elated.
