I think this could be the best thing for the franchise. I remember when it used to be treyarch and IW going back and forth, each game felt different. I used to prefer the IW games but in the end it felt fresh. With everyone now using the same engine the games play the same year after year. They should slow it down a bit to not burn out the franchise. They could keep warzone updated and drop a mainline game every 2 -3 years.

Until I see what they do to the Call of Duty series, then I can judge them on that particular one. As for Halo, I don't really know what went wrong for them with the game.
