Yeah, agree with y'all. It's all cap. Whatever country you from, you got no choice but to move up the ranks where you at then go international when you get good enough.

Was he saying that when he was starting out? Makes zero sense or logic and someone can easily call out his bulls*t by asking him 'First, were you wrong for fighting other Mexicans on your way up the ranks then? And secondly, young Mexican boxers look up to you, so if they emulate you and not fight a fellow 'raza', how do they become great? They can't go international until they are better than anyone at home?'

Or, maybe he only wants to fight other races and not his own. That's what I get out of it when he says he won't fight a Mexican out of respect to his people and country. To me that sounds like he wants to just beat up other races instead. These boxers have lethal weapons with their fists, so when he says this, it sounds like he doesn't want to hurt his own people, but will glady hurt others.

    Fair point, that's another way of looking at it. I wonder if it would have the same effect if he no longer fights against his people and simply not announce it.
