Straight up i respect the bloods and crips cuz it started as community revoloution in progress. I forget what blood stands for. But it devolved into banging over colours and territory. You know I’m from Los Angeles right? Not to say that it entitles me to more knowledge but it does mean I had proximity to it at minimum. As far as I know, the defense part of their origin was like “in god we trust” on a dollar bill. My uncles are some of the original crip members and they was going around terrorizing people from day 1. So much so that the Bloods were started to protect themselves from Crips. I have never met a gang banger with the heart to challenge the system, most won’t even tell they boss at work “no”.

The glamorization of gang violence destroys so many lives. When I see crap like this, I lose respect for people. You can rep your home city, you don't need to bring gang relations into it. This does nothing but feeds into the stereotypes we have spent our lives trying to get out under from. People like Cardi don't care about nothing but getting paid.
