Chucky (SyFy)
I gotta check this out for nostalgia sake. I hope they keep it simple. Remember back In the early 2000’s when they were remaking everything and it was so over the top and edgy. They ruined a lot of classic movies and games with that millenium crap…even windows.
I watched the first episode:
Joint is real dope and I like how they used a lot of practical effects to make Chucky and didn’t rely too much on CGI.
I like Jake and Devon so far, they are building them out real nice.
What I didn’t like so far is how everyone else is one-dimensional. I don’t see how they will be able to sustain the series if they don’t flesh out everyone else so we’ll see.
I get how that works in a movie but it doesn’t work well in a series. It’s the beginning though so I dont want to be too harsh.
