Them considering themselves to be trans unfortunately, yet ironically reflects a bit of their poor overall mental health along with their volatile, reckless, violent behavior. Just because you are trans, LGBTQ+ and/or mentally ill doesn't mean you are exempt from criticism, shaming, consequences, punishment, accountability, and justified ass-whoopings. They can get that work just like anybody else.

Translation: Isaiah Lee is trans and is a part of the trans community.
(Or, one of his best friends forever, someone in his family who, he is very close with, or his romantic partner(s) is/are trans)
Sorry, but this level of passion and reckless violence is way too much for a person who merely has loose connections with the trans community at best. The attacker's connections to the trans community are way deeper than the media and those close to the attacker want to admit. They likely don’t wanna come clean about Isaiah Lee being trans because they fear it will publicly reaffirm the notion that too many of these transpeople out here are mentally unstable, angry, entitled, violent, spoiled, and overly emotional and overly sensitive about every little thing that supposedly offends them.
Some people are even speculating that this was an orchestrated attack by TPTB.
Dave neutralized that shit tho, he was grounded like a mf. In the end, it took the guy to trip him by the legs/feet to get him down. It was a hell of a spear but it was determination that "won" the day (for a second, anyway).

Interesting how it is never a group or gang when it comes to any white movements. If LGBTQIA+ was a Black movement they would have not stated him to be “loosely” affiliated, he would have become the poster child for the entire movement. But since the movement is white led he is just a “loose connection”. The only thing loosely connected his arm to his socket.

L.A. District Attorney Won’t Press Felony Charges Against Alleged Dave Chappelle Attacker
The Los Angeles District Attorney has declined to file felony charges against the man accused of attacking Dave Chappelle on stage Tuesday night during a stand-up comedy show, the DA’s office said Thursday—but misdemeanor charges are still possible.
In a statement to Forbes, the DA said prosecutors determined “while criminal conduct occurred, the evidence as presented did not constitute felony conduct.”
The DA’s office referred the case to the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, which could file misdemeanor charges.
Carla Sims, a representative for Chappelle, told Forbes on Wednesday the comedian is “fully cooperating” with the police investigation.
Forbes has reached out to the LA City Attorney’s Office and Chappelle for comment.
