Have you ever had to deal with a PC being corrupt due to viruses, malware or anything similar to it? I've had my fair share of problems, especially back in the 90s when I didn't pay attention to the bad sites I would go on. So I remember our home PC would always be full of viruses, and then one time this adware was on my PC and it would advertise porn every time you turned it on. You could probably guess, but my mom whooped my ass. We didn't know how to fix PCs, so my mom fed up, just tossed the thing out the window into the back yard.

If you must know, I was a pervy kids, and didn't know going to a lot of adult sites resulted in viruses, malware and other such things. Especially adware back then, because we'd get ad pop-ups. And this was right on the desktop.

We didn't get a new PC until probably 2008 or so, no joke. I was probably 18 around that time, but I can assure you, I played it safe using that PC.

Anyway, do you guys have any stories about dealing with viruses and other things that hijack pcs and cause issues?

I remember back in those Kazaa Resurrection/limewire days any minute a big purple gorilla would come swinging across your monitor. . That was the struggle Everything on the computer was slow as hell.

But these days, I do this for a living. My firewall/VPN game is chiseled. I set up every laptop with a clean install configured to perfection. I have A modem>>>VPN Router>>>WiFi Router configuration with my own static Ip.

So many people give me their crappy computers to fix and I have no idea how they drag it down to a crawl like that. Aren’t you just web browsing?

Some people don't have the basic knowledge on how to do that and it's why they allow their system to get that bad. A cousin of mine doesn't even know how to update his anti virus, so you can imagine what goes on in his system.
