Wsup 6zero, Help me out. I'm bout to cop this Galaxy Book Pro. Looks like it's souped up with all the bells and whistles, but this joint ain't got no touchscreen. I'm not sure if I need a touch screen on a laptop anyway. Am I about to make a mistake?

    - I have OCD and hate smudges on my screen.

I use Macs so I don’t have the option for a touch screen but when I use my iPad with a keyboard, having to touch the screen sucks. I feel like touch as an input device is best for tablet style devices because when you use them they screen is typically parallel to the floor and so you’re facing down and tapping down during use. When you’re using a laptop, the screen is not parallel to the floor, it’s perpendicular and so you have to lift your hand to touch the screen which is unnatural and can easily lead to fatigue.

My explanation is clunky but pick up your phone and you’ll see what I mean…touch works because you use it in a totally different fashion. Keyboard and mouse are superior in every way for laptop and desktop computers….touching actually gets in the way. It looks cool in movies though.

I had one of those laptops in college. I rarely used the touch screen, mainly because of how easy it was to smudge. As well, I never found a practical usage for the touch screen, as I just used it as a laptop. 😕
That’s what I was thinking. I almost never use the touch screen but I‘m a technophobe. I gotta have it cause it’s there.

Sometimes you gotta keep it simple. I love all the tech in my BMW but I leased it because all that tech will be your downfall after warranty. Don't get the touch screen if you don't need it, more shit that can break for no upside.

I used to have an all in one with a touch screen. I never, ever used it and it was the first thing to go when it started getting old. I feel like you pay extra for the touchscreen but it doesn't really add much to do value.
Yeah you’re right. It’s just one more thing to break. When I throw it on the docking station it won’t matter anyway. I might as well dive in. Samsung is taking $250 off and giving me $400 for this old tablet, and I got $150 in credits for buying this phone. I’m bought to cash out.

I have two laptops and I have touch screens on both of them.
I will always get touch screen on mine if it's in my budget but I will ALWAYS get a back lit keyboard, no matter what.

But the RGB mechanical keyboard by RAZER is king.
Yes, RAZER is expensive but you'll forget about it if you have a heavy work load involving rendering video and photo editing.
I’ve already decided that my next laptop is gonna be a monster with at least a 15 inch screen. It’s going to be the last one I buy for awhile. My body is ready.

Bro, get the 17 inch screen. 15 inch isn't enough. A 17 inch will strike up a conversation with that chick at the coffee shop, trust me.

By the way, get a laptop bag with wheels, instead of a backpack, these laptops are heavy.
If somebody got hit over the head, the police are coming.

So you’re saying I need to really swing for the fences… oh yeah I have a few rolling laptop bags. I’m not getting a big heavy laptop. I really don’t like those heat furnaces that don’t work unless they are plugged in.

No, that’s what Macs do homie.
This is the truth right here.

I really thought about grabbing one of those 16 inch MacBooks, but I have developed a disdain for Macs. Do you know how many times, I’ve been tricked by some poor soul who’ve spent a whole month salary on a new macbook contacting me talking bout they need their new “laptop“ hooked up to the old crappy printer/copier or install some incompatible software.

They always say the same dumb ass quote: “This is an over $2000 laptop. It should work. Right?”

You have to setup relay routers just so they can print.

But with that being said. I have narrowed my search down to the 15 inch Surfacebook 3, but I’m thinking about go getting my Starbucks/Panera swag on with one of these Macbooks.

That’s user error, has nothing to do with Macs.

Uh oh. I done gone and done it. I made my choice....

For the first time in my life...

I bought a MacBook pro. shaqoneal

I picked up the older one though. Got the 16 inch i9 16Gb ram 1TB storage with the Touch Bar. Aww man this Touch Bar is so sweet. The stereo speakers are the best I ever heard on a laptop. Got Windows Remote Desktop setup to my home server just in case I need to do something in Windows. Bout to look into setting up Bootcamp.

The laptop I'm currently using does offer a touch screen feature, however, I can't say that I ever really use it. If I use anything, I use the touchpad and keyboard. There may be some occasional reasons as to why I may use the touch screen, specifically to zoom in on a page because it's quicker than going into browser settings and manually doing it.
