It is already happening on TikTok. There are people who identify as demons. They use the pronouns "Demon" and "Demonself". I am not even joking. My friend was showing me a vid of this last week.

The level of nonsense that's happening on TikTok can't be said enough.

It's like all the madness and craziness in the world today have been pushed to that social media platform.

And it is being driven by the youth. It seems like back in the day, we had teens and young twenties wanting to be like people in their late twenties and even thirties but now we have 30+ year olds wanting to be like teens. It is all dumbfuqery.

I don't celebrate it and I have no connection with pushing to belong on the movement. This is not to say those that celebrate it are in the wrong though.

I learned about Kwanzaa in elementary school and that was the only time I really "Celebrated" it like that.

I remember Kwanza celebrations back when I was a kid. Big backyard BBQ feast, and music. Mountain of soul food.

First day of Kwanzaa. Regardless of the politics involved, the principles need to be echoed 24-7.

No kids, so I don’t aggressively celebrate it. Despite the controversy surrounding Karenga, I think the question begs itself as to whether or not there is anything redeemable about Kwanza. Is there power in celebrating Kwanza or not❓As far as “throwing it away”, I haven’t heard very much from the NBM regarding such endeavors. I move with the collective consciousness on this 1. Simultaneously I embrace ARUTISUSE, Juneteenth & eagerly await any new emerging holiday that is wrought forth in the midst of what seemingly is a FBA Renaissance moment 🔥🙏🏽🔥

Yessir, but its more like a practice rather than a celebration at this point... The seven principles of Kwanzaa are right and exact. I try to practice those principles year around.
