I'm not completely 100% on what is going on lately. All I know is that the US backed out of Afghanistan and are leaving it up to the afghan army and the people to fend for themselves. And so far that hasn't gone so well. It's left tons of Americans and refugees alone. It's a mess out there. And now the taliban has taken over the government over there essentially, or so I've heard.

Anyway, there was a bombing today I think that left 12 dead. And I think things are just going to keep getting worse in the middle east and surrounding areas.

Yeah I think things will get progressively worse for awhile. They’ve been waiting for this for a long time.

Well shit was already bad...they were occupied by a foreign power for over 20 years and saw their women, children, brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers and family murdered in all the chaos. I'm not a fan of the Taliban but that's a fight the Afghan people have to figure out. What I don't like is how the media is trying to make the Taliban out to be some blood thirsty savages but remember the Taliban didn't attack the USA...the USA attacked them!

USA has gone across the world overthrowing sovereign governments, supporting leaders who commit genocide, and still people's natural resources...it is by no means a moral authority. The largest incarcerated population is in the USA...the USA still openly kills its citizens and let's the perpetrators get away by saying "I feared for my life".

The Middle East will always be destabilized if Western Powers keep meddling in their affairs. Not too long ago the USA was arming Al Qaeda to help them beat the USSR...the USA is directly responsible for a lot of the shit going on over there.

When Mossadegh wanted to control his own oil in his country of Iran, the USA work with British intelligence to overthrow him, installed a puppet, the people got tired of the puppet and that's when the Ayatollah came into power.

For Afghanistan overall it will get better simply because there isnt a war draining all the resources and killing all the men. Yeah the western collaborators are going to flee, many of them will be killed in reprisal, there will be some ISIS attacks (ISIS is at war with the taliban), but conditions for the vast majority of Afghanis who didnt benefit from the puppet regime can only get better.
The Taliban clearly has more support in that country than the media wants to admit, its been confirmed since the last ceasefire where the ANA and Taliban literally held hands. The ANA outnumbered the Taliban 6 to 1 but still put up no resistance because they'd rather not fight their own brothers. The fact that there's no civil war is a miracle.
Ultimately peace and stability under the authoritarian taliban rule is better than war and bombing with a liberal puppet government looting their resources. It seems the taliban is already making deals for developing and rebuilding their country.

Excellent insight and Americans don't understand because we've never seen war in our homeland. They see it abstractly so they think the brave American angel soldiers going down the street every day and killing the people is better than the evil hell birthed Taliban running the country which is ignorant. I always tell people...just imagine a Chinese missile hits the largest freeway in town and now you have to take the streets to work...just imagine how much of an impact that would be. You would feel scared and angry that someone could do something that will impact your life like that. Like you said, they now have the ability to have some kind of balance and order...and if they dont like the Taliban then they know what they need to do to fix the issue.

They won't get worse they'll just take over and run the government and make money. I just hope they don't get any free time and start wars and stuff.
