I do worry for the future of Bethesda and Activision, especially Bethesda as I would like more skyrim and fallout. If Xbox doesn't mess with these studios and let's them make the games they want, I think things will be fine.

I hope they don't make their future games exclusive, because it'll for sure result in lost sales. And I can see people not getting the game because of it.

If Microsoft doesn’t change its ways Bethesda and Activision is screwed.

They mismanage their developers, they change scope, they don’t change budgets.

Look at the 343 fiasco. Halo Infinite launched and didn’t have campaign multiplayer, split screen, lobbies, etc.

If Microsoft cannot manage Halo which is their cash cow how can they manage COD.

There's a very big possibility of them messing up both Bethesda and Activision if they aren't careful with how they are running their policies now. With a lot of IP's they need to work on because of their new acquisition will definitely pose a lot of challenges for them.

I hope they don't but given Microsoft's recent years there's a good chance they will. I'm still mad that Activision will probably never make a new Spyro the Dragon title, since they made Toys for Bob focus on COD. Spyro deserves a new title, Crash got one. :\

I don’t see them being anything more than a hit factory under Microsoft. All the creative, fan service, and fun projects will never get funded.

I have a feeling they are going to squander their buys, as in not go back and create games around popular IPs. And I think eventually they're going to make all Bethesda and Activision games exclusive to their consoles. Maybe not right away, but I can see it happening in a couple years or so.

Microsoft is garbage.

They really need to get their shit together with Halo Infinite. They have a good game there, but they're neglecting it by not putting the money into it. It's not doing well as a live service game, and the upcoming changes are too far off it seems.

And I don't get it. Halo is Microsoft's biggest franchise, and the fact they aren't putting money at it is just crazy to me. It's as if they want it to die.

They’re putting money into it the problem is they’re putting their incompetence into it too.

With the way Microsoft is going lately, Bethesda and Activision is most likely screwed and I don't see them coming back from it once it happens.

They really need to slow down and think thoroughly how they want to move forward with these companies, otherwise it's going to be their loss.
