That's some valid points you made there mate, I Personally feel that the way you dress is how you are gonna be addressed. Not tryna sound bias but people who dress up nice and clean are often regarded as responsible than people who are all about the bling and swag. Growing up my mama used to tell me that and I thought she was crazy. Now as an adult I definitely understand where she was coming from. My husband still remembers what I was wearing the day we met. You are your own billboard.

I like to be presentable when in public. I don't dress up or anything but I keep myself clean and keep myself presentable. You won't catch me wearing what should be considered lingerie in public. That is all part of the hood culture. The crap that was forced on our women and tricked many of them into believing this was normal and acceptable. You will not catch a good black man wanting anything to do with women like this.

I don't usually go to dates but whenever I decide to honor one, I will always look my very best because for me, the first impression you make matters so much on how you would be received. So, I wouldn't feel good at when I make all the effort to look good, only for my date to look off. I won't waste my on such date.
