Obviously, she (her producers) ripped it off. Most white artists either rip off a style or sound of other hits because they can't create anything new. The original song from the band that "Levitating" samples does sound like ass though. Nothing but watered down Black music for the consumption of bland whites on an Eurocentric diet. They sound worse than culture vulture ass UB40 and Snow the rapping snow roach.

It literally pays to be mediocre and all they have to do is have some marginally talented (at best) opportunist take their mediocre work, make it sound a little bit better, refuse to give credit to the original artist(s), and then those same original artist(s) can eat off a lawsuit they filed and won and they can live on all of the settlement money for the rest of their life.

Like wow. Even shitty ideas and shitty work are not safe from being stolen.
