For the religious Brothers and Sisters out there, do you think that Superhero movies as well as comics have us worshipping fictional characters over God as well as mortalising and somewhat parodying Him? Also, do you think that by accepting the concept of fictional characters obtaining superpowers that we are downplaying The Creator as a whole?

It is modern day Ancient Egypt. People back then worshiped concepts and ideas. People today do the same but in fictional realities. I would rather people idolize fictional characters than real people though. Think of how much corruption their is in the entertainment industry and there are millions who fall to those people's feet.

Great question, Yes we are worshipping God(s) in the sense that modern day comics, with few exceptions, as they are heavily promoted are an extended form of what Greek Mythology. We simply need to stay away & definitely keep our children away from any form of propaganda that promotes WS as having Supernatural Strengths, Knowledge, & a presence that presides all over the globe. If we ourselves & our children aren’t imbibing images of FBA men & women offering protection & saving the day then we perpetuate Generational Curses of and none greater than SANTA CLAUS; after all isn’t Santa a SUPERHERO ⁉️

Santa's just a paedo in drag that dumb ass parents give a pass to.

We've come a long way from lynching black people to accepting the asinine belief that a fat ass paedophilic white man sneaking down non existent chimneys is a kind trustworthy man to our black children but only once a year 🙄

Maybe for YT ppl. I have yet to see a black child dorn a cape and run off a 2nd story (talking about I am Superman watch me fly). But I have seen YT kids plus one dumb Asian boy break their arm or leg.

I did, however, learn a couple of things about the superhero genre.

I saw a meme by a black artist and what he said was so profound. The image was that of a black superman wearing the famous superman garb only the caption read: if he draws his power from the sun shouldn't he look like this. That's something most of us simply overlooked.

The other thing was something I learned from Umar Johnson. He pointed out that the white movie industry get their inspiration/material from studying our ancestors and their religious beliefs -Ogun for one. There are numerous black mythical icons our ancestors worshipped that Hollywood have plagiarized into blockbuster movies -live Thor for one. They are always stealing our shit but are quick to tell us we have no noteworthy history!

I also think they got the inspiration for predator -his appearance, from the original samurais who were black and wore locks and had the stature.

Not really. It's just a form of momentary escapism -for those of us that are compos mentis. Some take hallucinative drugs to achieve the same thing but sci fi movies are just light entertainment usually inspired by historical events or mythological ideology. The danger is that viewers could be influenced to accept it as factual if impressionable enough. It's a great tool for propagandists!
