I really hope so, with your GPU and CPU being the pretty much the core cost of a new build I'm looking forward to seeing how low they will price them. I'm still running a 2080 RTX Ultra, it's still a decent GPU, but with the 3k series out I'm sure developers will roll out games and updates that will make my card put in overtime.
I've been wanting to build a new PC for the last year or so, I wasn't going to pay 2k just for a graphic card... Hell no!
Hopefully I'll be able to start on a build by the end of this year.

Yup, we are here! I've never bought a pre-build. The only ones I do buy pre-built are my laptops, been close to 21 years since I built my first one, back when the Celeron chip was the sh!t lol.

Asus is a nice choice! They've come a long way, I used to rock with MSI heavy back in the day (still do) but Gigabyte makes some really good stuff too. My brother Loved Asus paired with AMD.

Bout damn time.

My setup is dated. I wanted to have an upgrade ready for Windows 11 but had to put it off because of the prices. I will be doing my first build once the prices are normalized. Fingers crossed that is real soon.

This is awesome! I've been waiting to build a new PC for a long while, I just haven't had the funds to build a new one at this time. However, if the prices are going to dramatically decrease, I will definitely plan on building a new PC. I don't like to spend a whole lot on these types of projects because I know that I will want to build another one in a matter of months. I consider it a lot of fun to build PCs and I would do it all the time if finances weren't an issue. Thank you for sharing this with us, hopefully, the prices will fall sooner than later.
