Halo is an American military science fiction television series developed by Kyle Killen and Steven Kane for the streaming service Paramount+, loosely based on the video game franchise of the same name. Produced by Showtime Networks, 343 Industries, Amblin Television, One Big Picture, and Chapter Eleven, the series follows a 26th-century war between the United Nations Space Command and the Covenant, a theocratic-military alliance of several advanced alien races determined to eradicate the human race.

Reviews have basically been mediocre. The series strays so far from the source material that it is almost unrecognizable.

My Take

My 2 cents is that the show is wack. Master Chief took his helmet off in the first episode, the cast is so "woke" they made the Keyes Black people, the Admiral is an Indian who is hard to understand, Chief is a pansy, and they centered the story around an insignificant asian chick who ain't from the lore. Also they put a White girl in the covenant. This show is trash.

I tried watching the show for a couple episodes of man it's bad. Most of the characters have no chemistry with each other the main lead is boring and bland. And, what's funny is that Paramount plus wanted this show to be thier version of the mandalorian yeah that's not gonna happen.

Yeah I'am the one from the coli. and yeah outside the girl I think the show is petty good it kind of reminds of Military science fiction shows that would come on in the early 2000s like stargate sg-1 and Andromeda.

If you remove it from Halo yeah but if you view it as a Halo TV show it is ass. They got Chief totally wrong, he doesn't act like that at all. They have a human in the Covenant, and they spend so much time showing the stupid human drama that they are kinda over looking the Alien race looking to wipe out the humans plot that surround the entire Halo story.

hmm I think once we get the second season the tv show will start to feel more like halo right now the human drama just set things up so when they start kill off main characters or characters that the main would care about die you will also feel something about them being kill off.

yeah you make some good points but I willing to give them a chance I mean the mainline halo game 1,2,3 really were not all that deep it was mainly just master chief killing aliens and zombie aliens while being stoic badass while doing so. really they just need more eps with chief killing aliens I think people will warm up too giving this show a chance I mean when they do the reach story I think all the human dama will be worth it.

Yeah it wasn’t too deep at all that was one of the things that made me get tired of it. I like how in Halo 4 they tried to give chief some depth but then they ruined it in Halo 5.

Overall we’ll see how this pans out, I hate it though. They ruined it by making people black for no reason, had an Indian admiral who you can barely understand and a stupid ass Korean main character with a stupid haircut and plot armor like a mofo.
