I've only really dealt with jealousy from friends when I was younger. For some reason, my best friend's parents would compare us and use me against her if I ever did anything better than her. It killed our relationship because she'd try to make everything we did a competition. We eventually had a big falling out and I haven't spoken to her since but I really hope her parents stopped doing that. So yeah, has jealousy ever ruined a friendship of yours?

Sure, back in high school I lost a few "friends" over jealousy, mostly involving females. I don't have that issue being older, the people I hang with are very secure and we are all much older.

I lost a number of friends because of this. Women can be catty as hell. One stopped talking to me cause her boyfriend at the time said I was beautiful. You can find other women beautiful and not be interested. Like we had no connection or attraction at all yet she cut me out her life over it.
