It seems like more and more younger people have health issues. I for one have issues with pain. Have had neck and back troubles since I was 22. I also have anxiety and trouble with sleep. I am working on getting healthier but I understand it is a process. I feel like because of all this, it has kept me held back in life. I just don't know where my life will be in 5 years. I don't want to end up even more unwell though and suffering. I want a quality life.

Great question. Do I have any health issues? The simple answer is no, but there are some technicalities to my answer. I was involved in a head-on collision a couple of years ago, and I gained a ton of weight during my recovery which led me to have mild sleep apnea. I quit breathing approximately 30-40 times in an hour's time when I'm sleeping. With this being said, sometimes it's difficult for me to wake up in the morning, and when I do I can sometimes feel very exhausted throughout the day. However, I do sleep with a CPAP, and it helps, but it's nothing like my old self. I only hope that one day I will be able to lose all this weight I've gained and get back to my normal self.

Did you have any brain issues stemming from the collision? I could only imagine the forceful stop from the accident would cause your head to whiplash.

My oldest brother is on a CPAP because of his weight. He got up to 350lbs I believe. Used to be around 210. He is only 5'7 as well so he is a big dude. He has lost the weight before and no longer needs the breathing machine but with everything happening now in the world, the stress, and him being 10 years older... It ain't easy! I hope you reach your goals!

I had both a concussion and a contusion, a contusion basically being a bruise on the brain. Literally, after the wreck, all I could do is sleep, even if I wanted to wake up, it was extremely difficult to do so.

I completely understand! It is certainly very difficult to lose weight, and it's extremely easy to want to give us because you don't see the results you want in the time that you want it. I'm trying my best to lose weight, and I'm actually very motivated at the moment. I'm interested in pursuing a career as a correctional officer for a local Juvenile Detention Center. I find it very motivated to be able to help troubled youth in the troubling times of their lives. So losing weight will only allow me to better myself and the others around me.

That is some good motivation to have right there. When we help others, we empower ourselves to do things without even realizing it!

I have always come to understand that the more help I gave out, they all always return to me in one way or another which is something that is very weird but that's the reality with me.
