I have been adding more Black owned businesses to the Blk list, and contemplating on adding one that is deemed "majority Black owned" and "employee owned". The company is Taharka Brothers, and their product is locally churned ice cream. What should I do? Taharka Brothers Ice Cream

I heard of them, cool. I would add them, and do more research. I saw the founder pics in a magazine, so I believe they are black owned. I'm not sure if they sold out some of their position.

I know they were selling ice cream to Bus Boys and Poets.

Add, we can always delete later. That's my opinion.

BTW, Creamilicious is also black owned. She sells in Walmart.

Yeah I know of them. There’s also a vegan ice cream in Baltimore. I will be adding more but just wanted some assistance. The founder is a white man but the owners are mostly Black men. I found out about Taharka Brothers over the summer and I purchase their ice cream sometimes.

I think the majority is fine. That is how most businesses work these days. Even if one black man starts up a company, to expand it enough and gain enough reach, he has to put it up in stocks and accept shares and hold share value. So long as they stay at 51%+, it is fine.
