He had some good points but Nathan Daley is not to be trusted. He is constantly defending police, venerating them, and he is friends with just pearly things.

However despite all of the above, his comment on Hidden History Museum was accurate in my opinion. He also gave some serious game when he stated the 3 options:

1. They kill you
2. Discredit you
3. Or you become an informant

I had never heard of him until I saw him in the video above. I just found his HHM footage to be interesting.
He was correct about agent behavior, though, which is a part of the reason that I've stopped watching most of the popular YouTubers.

Yes indeed…I was frustrated when Taharka Bey didn’t follow up when he stated the 3 options: 1. Execute, 2. Tarnish, or 3. Become an agent. He should have taken that down the rabbit hole instead talking about that militia.

Next time in LA I'll definitely stop by. I've encouraged a few LA friends to stop to see it. No report back yet.

When I visit I won't be expecting the Smithsonian. I can definitely see why some aren't happy with it. But some of us, appreciate the effort. Whatever side of the line that people fall on I'll respect their view and keep it moving. I won't tell those who don't like it they are wrong but I don't think people should be shamed if they support it either.

We can all choose whether to support his projects or not. Yes, there is free speech and its a free country but I'm gonna try and limit myself to more constructive debates.

Calling out a misappropriation of the Black community’s funds is very constructive. Making it so that individuals who do not do right by us do not feel that our community is a safe haven for their misdoings is constructive.

He screwed us over and the line is between those that are ok with being screwed over and those that aren’t. No reason to use soft language as if it was a slight difference between what he promised and what he delivered.

He promised us a two story museum and delivered a building the size of a cafe with nothing but pictures of people we already know about. I’m not trying to come at you but you are using soft language to make it look like he didn’t screw up the project.

Like he didn’t buy a building with a tenant in it for him to profit then when called out he went and got a bunch of pictures printed out and said “hey here’s your museum”.

That he is now using as a comedy club and set for a reality TV show.

Seems like more infighting and trying to discredit something you had no hand in building 🤔 All of this is ongoing only time will tell if this endeavor will be considered "worth it" in the meantime arguing over the merits of this "museum " takes away focus on the true enemy of us. I'm always suspicious when people try to tell me who our "leaders" are especially when a person has never claimed to be a "leader" 🤔 oh well there's enough suspicious behavior to be thrown around I suppose. My final analysis Tariq should have called it a themed lounge More so than a museum its called a museum for tax purposes. I'm not mad or disappointed I just hope he sticks with this and it's not shut down in a year or two then it will have been a waste.

I agree with the last couple of sentences 100%. I wish he would have been straight up about wanting to open a lounge instead of pitching it as a museum and then delivering an event space with pictures of Black people. The scrutiny is rightfully deserved because he did a bait and switch.

Even if he has all the intention to deliver the original plan but couldn’t he should have came back to us to let us know. But he doesn’t feel like he has to based on his behavior and people accept it. I just know that I will not contribute to anymore of his projects.

I feel scammed but most people who support him would rather gaslight lame instead of hearing me out.

Nathan Daley rocks with Just Pearly Things. That doesn’t discount what he is saying but I wouldn’t trust him farther than I can see him. He also isn’t Black American either so when he talks about what we need to do as Black and how we need to be memorializing cops he can kick rocks.

I'm not saying the criticisms don't have merit. We've debated that ad nauseum.
The vast majority of his support are still with him and the FBA conference shows that. It is what it is.

If the 'museum' evolves into a multi use site which is how it seems to going to and people are still supporting it and future projects then that's that no matter how anyone feels about it.
