I am curious. I am considering switching cause gas just hit a high of $4.91 a gallon where I am at I can't take it. It is estimated to be over $6 by August. If I can manage it, I might do a trade-in and get some sort of hybrid just to save on cost. I don't want to go fully electric but I can see myself at least driving a Hybrid. Does anyone know about these cars more? I am not a car person.

If you can afford one, get a Plug-in Hybrid. I picked up a 2012 Chevy Volt last year for $7K but with rising gas prices they are going for well over $10K for the same year. I probably get gas every other month with my car. It has an Electric Range of 35 Miles and 7 Gallon Gas Tank so even if you have to fill up at most its $40. With a full tank and full charge the range is about 300 Miles. I have a 23 Mile Commute 1 way but I'm able to charge it will at work. So during the work week I don't use a drop of gas. Shop around for one you like. Just a heads up during colder weather you'll see your range drop by a 1/3.

1st Gen(2011-2016) Chevrolet Volt 38 Miles Electric Range
2st Gen(2017-2019) Chevrolet Volt 58 Miles Electric Range
(2017-2020)Cadillac CT6 Plugin Hybrid 32 Miles Electric Range
(2017-Current) Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV 24 Miles Electric Range

I chose these four because they fall under peoples radar for Plug In Hybrids. You find them for under 30K except the Cadillac. Under 10K for 1st Gen Volts. Under 20K for the 2nd Gen Volt. The Outlander can be found under 30K with less than 50K Miles on them.

How’s the fit and finish in the inside? I love the exterior design especially the front, it was ahead of its time.

Interior is nice but small. I have Bose audio system and touch screen display. Nice smooth ride, Chevy over engineered the car, I haven't had a problem out of it. I plan on getting the Cadillac CT6 if gas prices continue to rise. My car has gone up in value.

I saw the CT6 in red yesterday I was stuck, it was such a nice looking ride. GM needs to invest in Cadillac more.

I'm getting more frustrated by this constant rise in the price of gas because it's not making life easier for me at all. I have actually considered switch up as well but I'm yet to decide on it. If I come to the conclusion that it's going to help me a lot, I would be doing it soon.

I think electric is the best way to save money with the on going rate at which the prices of gas is escalating.

Maybe I would go for an hybrid, I don't know if around here I would find Chevrolote volt 38. If I have $10k would I be able to own one of those.
