The mentality to think about legitimacy is the key to something like this. The White media and White people generally would ignore something like this. We have the power to ignore but we think it's cute when a white person does something "Black".

It started with the entertainment industry. When a white person "almost" sings Black, i.e., Jon B, we actually give them props instead of ignoring them.

"10 Harlems", In season 2 episode 8 of The Godfather of Harlem Bumpy Johnson reaches the a point of his war with the 5 families where he is able to sack the families supplier [chemists]. In doing so he calls in 10 major black players from every city in America to cut them in and establish their own pipeline, grow business operations and fight the Italians nationwide.

☆We are this countries biggest source of income, from entertainment to law and policy. We are starting to act like the biggest contributors as well, by harnessing the call to ownership and control, whatever we don't make popular won't be.
In becoming gatekeepers, we must able to provide services and duties to other black people regardless of what the dominant society says. This is also how we establish THE CODE (This thing of ours), and being able to feed our own and starve traitors.

It's too late, the geni is out of the bottle. Too many nigga love the approval of white people. Too eager to give out culture away.

The answer, yet unfortunate, that I was looking for. So where do we go from here? Do we let the mainstream aspect of black culture get cannibalized while embracing the ones that aren't as mainstream (for example white people aren't very fond of R&B outside of the mainstream/critical darlings)? Hip hop is long gone unfortunately.

Great question(s) btw. Our ability to rein in our proprietary culture lies in our ability to control industry and markets forces, not just influence it. We have neither control or wield any real authority; therefore, they take and take at an expense we are seemingly willing to pay, with our very soul. Soul = culture. And if we are enjoying trading in our culture for mere popularity and inclusion then, shit, we are not even putting up a fight at this point.

Side note, Godfather of Harlem is a GREAT show!

we have to make sure we teach the next few generations about gatekeeping, when they create the next big sound, art, etc. they need to keep it and police it as the white people do with country music.
It's not impossible, it just takes them to stay on code and get on code.

This is huge right here. Let a 30 year old white dude in chino shorts and a polo sing rapper’s delight and negros lose it.

This is bad ass and what we have to do in our major industries. Koreans need to get it with hair care.

Another important point. We wont be able to fully stop it because we cant block distribution but we can definitely be the stamp of approval. Like the “real california milk“ stamp…we can be that and only apply when we do our own work.

I essentially agree with you, however I see it in much simpler terms. As Gods they seek to flatter us, yet beyond an emotional Fix there is nothing I can do with flattery. So I believe we need to recognize Cheap Flattery vs Tangibles. I believe the term “Cheap Flattery vs Tangibles❓“ vs Cultural Appropriation is more effective because it attaches in a subliminal manner the true realities of debts owed, wrongs, & America’s unwillingness to accept responsibility. My most recent observation of this type of flattery popped up on my page about 2 weeks ago. It is the video of a propaganda piece from, what I suspect, is the Chinese government. Asian troupe mostly women dancing to a James Brown song. Maybe 3 minutes tops in length and the timing of this video is so suspect, considering the false narrative, I.e., Asian hate, alleged Blk perpetrators, etc. Prior to the Biden/Harris agenda in all fairness & honesty I might have simply watched the video & allowed myself to feel good about this.
