Some commenters are saying it’s due to Big3 not having young talent but others are saying because Cube is Black. I think if the NBA looked at the Big3 as a development league the young talent would go. What are your thoughts?

Saying it is competition is just their way of getting around the obvious. They want to make sure they control the pipeline for the best Black talent. If they partner with a Black entrepreneur and his brand is elevated through association, it’ll be an issue for them. If they do some of that janky shit to the Black players, Big3 will be there to accept them with open arms.

100 and the players will relate more. Which is why coaches like Deion Sanders at an HBCU is an existential threat in the NCAA. He talks like the players, comes from the same neighborhoods, same culture, connects with the talent, and he’s just as athletic. It changes the power dynamic.

They don't even play full court ball for crying out loud. But at the same time if Big3 gets notoriety they can easy open up the other half of the court. Big3 is not competition now but long-term it will be.
