Yeah. Not to mention, the fact that many gay males in general regardless of race tend to have a sort of predisposition to be drawn into things such as the arts, music, singing, acting, drama, comedy, dance, fashion design, modeling, media, working in the public eye and the like. They are constantly making hobbies and careers out of these fields. So between the gay dudes are willfully running into Hollywood, helping to run Hollywood, recruiting and seeking out their own, and pressuring many straight males to be more "LBGTQIA member friendly" or even "gay for pay" or "heteroflexible", it all leads to gay males being overly represented in these industries whether they are open or closeted / downlow.
Also, in the eyes of TPTB as well as the dominant society, gay black men are not really a threat to the status quo, but in accordance and in lockstep with the status quo. They are less likely to procreate and have kids of their own and they will likely either adopt or stay childfree. TPTB and its tools label people who see gay men as weak as homophobic, yet the dominant society only accepts gay men because they are seen as minions to help reaffirm the status quo as collective in various ways. Unless they are B1 like James Baldwin, they aren't deemed a threat. Certified non-threats are Billy Porter, Lil Nas X, RuPaul, Lee Daniels, Tyler Perry (yes I said it), etc. Notice how many of them are also coons?
