This coon says that the Afro-Latino Artist of the Year award is not about race but about a person in Latin America contributing to African music.

So very true. You hit the hammer on the head. As for guys like Fat Joe, Drake and those others, to me, they're just extensions of what many refer to as culture vultures. Sadly, the real ones are our very own who in the long run has forgotten and for so long, have pimped the Rap game and Black people for their own advantage and beyond....

True on a larger level, but It's also little things that can be done on a smaller scale that can eventually trigger and grow into something massive. One thing WE as Blacks do considerably, and that's to doubt both our strong presence and power. In coming together with great organization and an all out agenda, Black people can actually command and demand for greater quality and be ever so vocal, as well as to take action on the negative and toxic images that are being marketed specifically towards us, especially the youth. WE can't have happen to US than what WE allow. WE gotta get in tuned and take back what others have been banking and benefitting heavily off of us for so long. As the O' Jays once said and that's "the message is in OUR music." They too said so profoundly "WE gotta put our heads together." There’s nothing that WE as Blacks can't accomplish and dominate. The day WE all fully clique in unison, and to come as ultimate unapologetic take no prisoners warriors, then that's when all others will fall back, and take suite that BLACK PEOPLE on a whole ain't no longer gonna stand for it. It's either gonna be OUR way or no way...period! No manipulation and BS tolerated. Any Blacks that chooses to play for the other team will greatly be handled with severe consequences and ultimate punishment.

Easy, get on code and stop giving the vultures our approval. Don't buy, stream, watch or go to any event. Break them.
The only way they get paid is if you pay them, the only way they stay popular is if you keep co-signing their BS. Sadly we have way too many of us still in the "matrix" ignorance is bliss.
