The smoke starts at 48:00 and doesn’t let up at all. I wonder are we finally seeing a pushback against him and his antics. He is definitely hurting his brand at this point. I never seen so many calling him out.
To a certain extent it doesn't matter what she says, even if true. She has 30k subs, no one will really hear it. If this gets views its because Tariq's name is in the title and will show up on searches. And even then people will ask 'Who is this?'. I've kinda, sorta heard her name before but can't say anything specific. A far more high profile, well respected name will have to come out with receipts. Someone of the Jason Black, Dr. Boyce, Dr. Claud Anderson level. The latter being the most of the 3.
At this point, you'd have to use the old political adage and catch Tariq in bed with a live (white) man or a dead (white) woman. His support is too strong and built up over years and most of his support are well aware of his past small time criminality, the macking books, his going to Brazil like a passport bro. People can be frustrated over why people still support him just like I am with Kanye's support up to now, but it is what it is.

His brand is definitely being tested, but I think saying its 'hurting' is a bit presumptive. His subs are growing. How is that hurting? Also, the more the Dems and the government hates on him the more credibility he has. Internally, within this space is what will hurt the brand. Being hated by the left and right will only help him (or anyone else in this space).
One thing to note about Kayne is that even if he loses his black support, enough white people and Latinos will continue to support him and his music. We built him up and look how he treats his own people. I don't think anyone can cancel him at this point. I think he will have to top everything he has done thus far.
His credibility with people in the Black Empowerment community. There was a time where Dr. Umar was unstoppable and he raised close to $1M for FDMG and now he's a joke. He still has his loyal followers but he's no longer taken seriously. The same thing can happen to Tariq. If Blackberry can fall off anyone can.

Dr. Umar, respectfully, is immaterial. He had 1 job and 1 job only. Deliver a school and he hasn't/couldn't. Furthermore, he had way more controversial things going than Tariq ever did while in the empowerment space (conscious stripper being the biggest one). Does Dr. Umar even have 1 ally who is a major voice in the space? I wouldn't use Dr. Umar as a comparative analogy but that's me.

This cat sells out shows and has a huge following but from everything I seen him in has a very small Black following.
It doesn’t matter any person or thing can lose credibility and prominence. Tariq’s spot is not guaranteed and if he continues his exploitative antics it could end badly for him. You may not take issue with it and that’s fine. But his behavior over the past couple weeks shows to me that he’s self serving and self interested. Black empowerment is a hustle to him in my eyes.

Of course anyone can lose credibility and prominence. Never said that couldn't happen. Presidents have had huge popularity numbers (Bush after 9/11) and 7 years later, STDs are more popular than him.
The point is how likely it is for Tariq to lose 'credibility and prominence' and I've not seen or read anything so far to suggest its likely with what is going on now.
Furthermore, the FBA reparations rally in DC will likely make it harder for him to lose credibility. It's very possible it will be covered nationally and as I stated before, if the majority culture starts openly f*cking with him, it will make him even more popular within our space.
Unless you hang out with a lot of White people you will never know if there are rappers they listen to that are not cosigned by Black people that's what I want to convey. I also showed you an example of someone who is relatively unknown in the Black community that is selling out back to back shows with White people.

He has more people talking against him than any time in the past. Once again, we will see. I don't want to go back and forth on it. You like Tariq, I don't and it is what it is.

I like facts, logic and reason infinitely more than I like Tariq. I f*ck with him because of the facts, logic and reasonableness of reparations, on code/off code, not voting without first being promised, etc.

Like for instance, is it wrong to say that Black people don’t like country music because most country music artists are unknown to Black people? When the fact is most country stars are unknown to Black people because Black people don’t like the music and cannot relate. Aren't the Odd Future / The Internet members (Tyler the Creator, Frank Ocean, Earl Sweatshirt, Syd the Kid, Steve Lacy), Danny Brown, and BROCKHAMPTON some of many examples of Black artists or groups with Black front members having fanbases that are vast majority white and non-Black? I hear Lizzo was also accepted and listened to by mainly whites before she caught on with Black people (mainly Black women).
Really? BROCKHAMPTON's fanbase is lily white and I mostly see whites and others hyping them up. The only few Black people who like them are mostly LGBTQ.
This is one of the final warnings for Tariq's followers. Something big is about to happen and people will be left wondering why no one warned them or told them anything. I've heard so many excuses for this man's behavior in the last couple of weeks, I could write a book about it.
