I say political prisoners because we are entrapped in a socioeconomic paradigm, that will not allow us access to capitalize in any industry except for entertainment and religion. We've made small strides here and there and have had our "first African-American" in all industries, but nothing we have been allowed to begin to build or embellish. The best of that was Madam C.J. Walker and I really don't know what happened to her products, nor the politics behind it not being a standing brand today. Especially considering that black hair products alone, is a billion dollar industry! Is it a Marcus Garvey situation, a Bobby Hemmitt or the typical familial discord... When considering our circumstances now and throughout, it is not because we are inherently victims to misunderstanding the dynamics of capital, enterprise or technology.
