So Lizzo is the first to play the James Madison crystal flute in over 200 years. You can tell it was a big deal for her.

I am happy for her but the thing that bothers me about this is the fact that most people had no idea she could actually play the flute that well (I sure as hell didn't) and she had to shake her backside while doing it. Like why do our women need to be sexualized and feel the need to sexualize themselves when it is not needed or required? Now imagine her playing this in a classy dress, all dolled up, and just letting her talent shine... That would be so damn inspiring but instead... we get this:

There are parts where she isn't shaking her a$$. Now imagine if the full performance by her was done without her doing this at all. Like I get it, it is part of her persona on stage but she can easily turn it off. This is meant to be a big deal not only for women but black women especially and I feel like her wiggling it while playing kind of ruined the moment.

Maybe I am being too judgemental but I am sick of these hoe-olympics. Women are out there degrading themselves for money and attention. It needs to stop.

Apparently, she has done it before but it seldom gets highlighted or talked about. People are more interested in her hoe-antics than her actual talents. Anyone can be a hoe these days, even obese women and she has proved that but not everyone can play a flute... I hope she realizes that talent is way more meaningful.

She really does have musical talent, but I think it gets overshadowed because of her fat acceptance movement. I'm all for someone being happy in their own body, but to glamorize obesity is a problem imo. I'll just say it. Carrying extra weight isn't the issue. You can look good with curves on you but when it becomes a point of you being so big it jeopardizes your health, it ain't cute. Homegirl is morbidly obese. Not saying it as an insult or anything. She can live her life how she wants but it clearly isn't the healthiest choice she has made.

You know that Adele singer, the British one? She dropped a lot of weight and people took to hating her for it. Maybe that is why Lizzo keeps backtracking her weight loss efforts. Who knows.

People are always trying to shoehorn their issues into ours. We fought to be accepted because at one time beauty was only a white woman shaped like a bic pen with thin lips. A shapely figure was our wide hips, big butts and full lips it was not a person who couldn’t put the McDonald’s down.

Now the McDonald’s addicts are trying to ride our wave and slide in acceptance for obesity as the same as Black woman fighting to be accepted just for who we are at birth.

Yup, they push all these unhealthy lifestyles on black men and women and say this ignorant stuff is empowerment. They have all their white liberal woman lining up to voice their support and make things even worse.

And yeah, what do we see trending these days? Botox lips and fake behinds. That is what so many young white women get done. I think both are done more than breast implants at this point.
