    Actually, that might be one of these:

    Similar family but way cooler looking. They become giant leopard moths. Either way, don't kill the guy. Put him back outside. They are good for the environment. I was some what of a bug nerd as a kid lol

    Yeah I’m pretty sure it’s the bottom one— and I actually found two of them! 🖤

    I kept inside for now because it’s getting cold, and it was night. Im going to make them a home with lots of leaves. They can make some safe cocoons.

    I did this when I was a kid with my dad. We found 4 of those woolly bears.

    Once they cacoon, set em outside so it goes into hibernation. If you keep them indoors, they will come out too soon. I kept mine in a glass jar on the porch. It was such a cool experience to see them come out in the spring.

    Anything fury, crawling is automatically squashed, or sprayed with my favorite bug killer "hot shots" I have a ton of spider's around my house, mostly because my wife is a rose and plant freak.. With plants and roses all over the yard, you tend to get spider's that like to set up shop. I don't kill the ones outside, only if the find their way in my house.
