Democrat Wes Moore of Takoma Park, MD has won the governor race against Republican Daniel Cox. Apparently there were some people who wanted Wes Moore to cancel his race months ago. Meet family members of another Black man named Wes Moore.

If you’re not aware, governor Moore wrote a book years ago comparing himself to an imprisoned Black man named Wes Moore from Baltimore. Turns out the family is not pleased with it and the fact that the author of the book ( Gov. Wes Moore) falsely compared his story to the life of their incarcerated nephew.

To add fuel to the fire, the nephew was never compensated for the story. I had to read that trash book in community college. 🤦🏾‍♀️ Now I want to burn it. Wes Moore should not be governor of Maryland. He’s a lying ass coon with no respect for other black people. He’s no better than the so called white man profiting off of Black people’s pain and struggles.

I understand that since he’s all for the immigrants. I don’t know what the future of Maryland will look like for Black Americans. I am from the state and was born in Baltimore. I want to move to another state, but would want to have property in Maryland in the future. At this point I don’t know if it’s worth it.

Sad thing is, nationwide, we'll continue to be the laggards bc we are bred with an employee mentality.. they have a owner mentality, a "let's have a lot of babies", mentality and support our own ...

I don’t think that part about them having an owner mentality is true because we’d see that manifest in their homeland. They have an even greater employee mindset than we do, they don’t complain and don’t stand up when the whip is cracked. The difference is that they are given a lane and we aren’t. If their stores and restaurants were burned down they’d be out of here so fast. They wouldn’t be fighting like we have for centuries.

Hmm, goood point. I have seen both sides. , For sure, there is more opportunity for ownership here than in their own
countries. When they come here, they take advantage of what they weren't able to take advantage of in their home countries. There is a perception that they maintain very well ( Hispanics are hard workers) .

It is virtually impossible (financially) to run for Governor or any statewide office like Senator of pretty much any state and win the primary of one of the two parties as well as the general election. Same for President.

Much like the whites, these Hispanics, Asians, and others have a focused, owner, colonizer, genocidal, conquistador, gentrifier, takeover mentality. Black people as a collective are too passive and submissive and keep looking for approval from these hostile groups. Some Black people seem totally okay with only taking over a block or just owning a house rather taking over and owning cities, states, countries, and land. There is not enough self-preservation. There seems to be a lack of strong sense of wanting to survive and thrive. We are dealing with a bunch of barbaric, bloodthirsty Goliaths and David (we) have yet to do anything substantial to stop them in their tracks.
