You ever see these dudes and old women out here being catfished by all these mail order brides and grooms? I've seen a lot of YouTube videos talking about these TLC shows like 90 day fiance or whatever, and I don't know how people can be so naive to believe these people. All of them end up breaking up, being used to get married and become citizens. That's mostly all they want to do.

Do you know anyone who has gotten a mail order bride or groom? Or got catfished by someone in another country and they went along with it?

Nah I don’t know anyone that desperate. Anyone in my crew that is game goofy is going to get leveled up or pushed out.

I haven't known anyone whose had a mail order bride. I use to think about it, how that goes. I have seen Filipino women brought to the US by soldiers, working at the Post Exchange etc. Watched a documentary on a recluse who was in a "relationship" with an inanimate object. My favorite scene is when he looked sad when he shipped it back to its manufacturer for repairs... That's about it in my case.

Exactly. Anyone who does get them, doesn't always seem like they're all there. idk, maybe they're just that desperate to find love. But I don't get how they can't see it's not. Those men and women only are there to get to the US and once they are in the US long enough, they'll drop em like nothing.

I agree. It seems like a way for an immigrant to get US citizenship. When I was in the US Army and overseas, young women were easy for that reason. Yeah, aint nothing too easy. Lol.

A friend of mine's dad tried this. He legit was on a site where you meet someone, talk to them, then set up arrangements. He nearly went through with it too until she talked him out of it. She introduced him to a few dating apps and told him he needs to keep that ish local or he will end up broke or in prison.

Yeah, it's easy to trick these old people looking for love. They expect it to be real, but all they are doing is wasting their money for someone that is just going to keep using them.

Yeah best to keep it local. Long distance rarely works anyway.

You will find those success stories but it is such a low percentage of the overall numbers that you really are taking a big risk participating in this kind of thing. I personally wouldn't do it if I was a guy.

They will say and do anything. That is the thing about it. Like I get finding love online, I can support that but ordering a bride can be the worst decision of your life. Too risky!
