For her to be a pivotal character and refuse to do any press is her being difficult. If she had a better business mind backing her and not her lame brained husband she would have sucked it up with Precious and rolled into the next movie with a better agreement.

I said the same thing when all this came out. I usually don't get into peoples personal lives but the relationship between Mo and her husband (who is laughably ignorant and yet arrogant at the time time not a good match) is way off and he gives off downlow LGBT vibes. It's almost as if he has something on Mo and she's gotta do what he says or else or maybe she's simply got a IQ that matches or self esteem.

Preach! It's such a horrible dynamic and she is letting him drag her to the ground. He gives her advice that is clearly illogical. If Netflix offered you 350k but offered Chappelle $25M then first question you need to ask is why? Then you will see that they are more successful then you so it makes sense. You counter offer, if they come back and you dont like the terms, move on...the race/sex card she played there was horrible. She was playing checkers on a chess board. If she was worth more, she should have toured to prove her worth and then demand a bigger bag from Netflix.

Then the Precious thing was dumb too. Tyler was telling her that if she gets an Oscar she would be pulling $5M a film. She could have taken 6 months out of her life for marketing Precious to set herself up for $5M a flick and her husband was like "No, ask them to give you $1M now or we are out". That is some of the worst chess moves I've seen in a long time.
