They NEVER were. Teachers saw me in my children's class regularly & they never knew when or what time I'd show up.
When integration happened, I was fighting on a daily basis. White kids calling me names, throwing things & spitting. But they learned quickly to leave me alone. 💯

I wished my family stayed in Detroit but that Riot spooked my grandmother. Having a sherman tank parked on the end of the street wa the last straw and everybody made the move to Ann Arbor which was closer to my grandfathers teaching position at WCC.
Yes these burb kids were something else until I linked up with other black kids, some also moved from detroit like my family did.

Thats why its so important to have this type of forum, so that we can compare notes on our respective countries. We have an organisation in the UK called the Black Child Agenda. They support and advocate for black schoolchildren.

I have to agree with the Professor here. I'm a millennial and I experienced this kind of white supremacy during my school days and my mother was NOT having it! She was there every time I was attacked by a white supremacist (teacher or student) which was often especially during elementary school (I was at a predominantly white school in St. Paul Minnesota during the early nineties). Because I was raised by a proBlk and fearless mother I am the same with my own children. I am a proponent of Blk people homeschooling our children whenever it is possible so as to better protect our children and limit the amount of antiBlk racism and white supremacist propaganda lies taught in public school.

Black ONLY home schooling needs to be a priority because that school to prison pipeline is in full swing. And it can start with 1 child, the hobbi dobbi's in Dearborn are doing it but they were given funding to start it just because they are arabs.
