Never been much of a Star Trek Fan...Here's one reason.
I have never personally been a fan of Star Trek either. I know a lot of people are fans of Star Trek and Star Wars but I have never found any interest in either of them. The video shown is also a great reason as to why I'm not a fan. I completely agree with you. I know a lot of people have their own personal opinions, but mine is to just avoid this altogether.
I never got into this or Star Wars. I feel like these are white people's shows for a reason. They always make black characters weak in one way or another.
More like they are being racist in a way but generally I don't really care that much about what they feel like doing with the movie, since it's not my thing.
