Only one on there that can speak on reparations is Kato-Emir. Everyone else are people who were either in Buck Breaking, Hidden Colors, or some other documentary. I’m a fan of Tariq but I don’t really see how this is more valid than trying to get politicians to join.

I think there will be a good turnout. Rizza Islam, Dr. Ma'at, Marcel, Dr. Boyce, & Tariq are all popular enough to draw a crowd; but there are huge marches & rallies here every other weekend (they're so commonplace that even most of the huge rallies don't even make the local news beyond a traffic report). Most of them are ultimately uneventful, because like blackice_ATL said, the organizers don't have anybody there with any political stroke.
Reparations for FBA is too important to just have an event which is basically going to be a bunch of speeches & DVD sales without anything major happening. It's essentially going to be a church revival; we'll hear a bunch of fiery sermons, then we'll go home & be poor again.
I really, REALLY hope I'm wrong, but I've seen this movie several times already.
