This is the kind of stuff Black businesses have to deal with. We ship 95% of our orders same day, are a registered LLC, we have an EIN, never had a claim, never done any international orders…we are doing business above boards and they banned us.

Just want to say that this is an inconvenience but it doesn’t slow anything down. But think about if this was a Black business sole source of income? Holding it for 6 months would put them out of business.

I opted out of using Paypal after seeing similar stories a few years back.
There's quite a few businesses that have gotten banned and money held out of blue.

I had a previous business who they would put holds on but never banned. I had 10x the income coming in too so it’s ridiculous. They held our funds for two weeks to investigate the site. I gave them all the detail and then they banned the site. It’s why I always used it as a backup because they play games. I never had this before though, straight banned before a year. No crazy transactions, no money being sent back from some random place like Zimbabwe. All transactions in the USA and all fulfilled. One thing they pointed out on the phone were the donations. They seemed to not like that for some reason. 90% of the money coming into PayPal were donations.because the cart software defaults to another method.

Paypal banned my business and froze the funds during the quarantine. We hadn't done anything wrong, either. We got the same boilerplate response that you got Jay. To this day, I have no concrete reason why we were banned and had our money taken. When I went online to research the issue, I discovered that arbitrarily banning & freezing funds is a practice that Paypal has done to many companies, and Paypal has received many complaints with the BBB as a result of that nefarious practice.

They're trying to target crypto too, but I suppose it's better than this shit here. I also heard horror stories about CashApp, Venmo, and a lot of these other sites and apps where people are getting their money stripped away from them. Like, our money is never truly safe anywhere and at risk of being lost, stolen, and confiscated (legalized theft).

They just can't accept us building wealth with each other. That's why its so hard for people to break away from their system. I was on some let's use crypto as a currency in our maroom colonies but if they fucking with that too shit smh. We always find a way to get around they bullshit though. We resilient like that!!

Real talk!!! Man that's the power of land wealth. My wife and I watched this crazy documentary on cults. There was a black dude I wanna say was a Nawubian. So cops find out he touching underage girls on his land. Now of course I do not condone that shit at all but on some legal benefits of land, the cops couldn't touch him until he left the land he owned. If for any reason you go against the establishment, they want you out the picture and they don't want you to succeed.

This is 100% why going full digital currency would be a MISTAKE. Never back a politician who wants this. I am all for crypto but within reason.

Censorship begins... This is the future of technocracy with blockchain technology. THIS is why we must oppose this at every turn. This is only the tip of the iceberg. Black people are not going to be able to participate in future tech economies for this very reason. Is it possible to use other methods (i.e Patreon, Venmo, Ko-fi, or other non-American platforms anti-NWO currently platforms)?

I agree except I oppose crypto and blockchain technology 100% because it's all linked to government control you just aren't able to see the stings. These corporations like Paypal and Venmo were social engineering experiments. People are waking up so they gotta kick the plan into high gear and those opposing the changing tide will be booted from these platforms and left unbanked unless you are able to find a workaround such as dealing small outfits or anti-NWO banking institutions/nations. Folks make crypto sound good because it's tied to money, something we all need to survive and a currency that will make us "globally" citizens. We're just going to be global slaves, able to have our money cut off in an instant and there is nothing we will be able to do about it.

The only thing that is safe is money you can hold in your hand which is why old long money pilgrims are on the interwebs telling everyone they know to invest in gold and silver. They have very little crypto. I am skeptical also about the promotion of all these Ivy League being involved in it too. I think it's all one big Ponzi scheme just like America is that is going to come crashing down eventually. The scammers gotta get one more big scam off before the biggest financial collapse of the history of the earth happens. People will put their money in and they're never going to get it out.

Crypto is going to be regulated like banks and it's not unhackable. That's been proven. They keep overpromising and under fulfilling. Folks should know the white mind has never created anything good for us. Not sure why folks are goofy tripping over themselves about crypto. And since they require your social security number / SSN just to supposedly ensure that they can any stop and "track suspicious activity" and "prevent money laundering and fraud", they can easily pull up all of your information, including what race you are.

And then they can secretly discriminate against you, sabotage you, steal your money, and kick you off their platform based off that alone. But they will never, ever openly admit or say that they fucked you over "because you're Black" due to the serious legal ramifications. Instead, they will claim that they had to ban your account and keep your funds from you because ~~you looked suspicious~~ your account was found to be involved in undefined "suspicious activity."

Like how discriminatory banks try to keep your high monied check from you and contact their fraud department as well as the company / person who wrote the check to ensure it's "a valid check and not a fake / bad one." And they might report you and freeze and close your account too. All because you're Black.

PayPal has always been strict and I don't really appreciate the fact that you can't even do any international transaction on the platform without your account been jammed, a friend of mine got this last week cos he had too many transactions coming in, we are glad he had pulled out most of his business funds before the ban. That would have crippled his business.

Well, I have some good news for you, crypto is tanking bad. I know my dad had some investments and one of his saw a 78% loss in one year's time. I think the "hype" of it all has faded and people are just cashing out and moving on. Blockchain tech is a bit different in my book. Yes, crypto can be tracked because of it but it can be used to do way more than what it does for crypto so I am not opposed to it, not yet.

I see your points though. If we get to a point where the government can fully control our means to make, keep, and use money - We are screwed.

One thing I find very frustrating in all of this by PayPal is that there would never disclose the real reason why they are having your account permanently limited or closed but just vaguely that your account is under potential risk for their business. Isn't that truly absurd?

There aren't many options. I mean the only other one I can think of is Stripe and it has its flaws. We need a few more PayPal clones. If they want to get all political and start rejecting people or straight-up banning people from their business, there needs to be alternatives OR there needs to be laws in place that allow us to sue them. This is straight discrimination.

Ebay does this too and they do it under the guise of the following:

"We cannot disclose the reason why your account was permanently suspended and we do this in order to prevent people from using methods to circumvent their bans. Our senior team has carefully reviewed and investigated your account and determined that it is best for us to part ways. The permanent suspension will remain in order to keep the community safe."

Why did they shut down your account? I also use Paypal on my site for donations. What type of business deals were you doing? What made them do that? Did they think your website was hate speech?

I don't think that it's the bot that's doing it because if it were to be, a lot of users have already complained about it and even contacted support but nothing was changed.

They just do it simply because they feel like it without any cause and it's what always happens when you have a monopoly in business.

You made a point about the possibility of those guys at PayPal targeting the blacks and those that have no malice towards Russia. It's pathetic that they are bringing politics into how business is run and I hope something changes pretty soon.

As a small business owner, what I use to make transactions across region is crypto currency as there are little or no restrictions and you wouldn't get banned from using a verified crypto account if you are operating a clean business without complaint of numerous fraudulent activities from other users.
