I try my best to practice Black Empowerment every day. I am encouraged by how many things we have to offer. For example, I see more Black beauty supply stores opening up in different towns. I see that our people are expanding our portfolios of restaurants. Some of our people are realizing toxic behaviors that are off code.

It needs to be who you are and not something that entertains you. Once it becomes who you are you can’t be anything less than Black Empowerment focused.

I'm so glad you mentioned entertainment. It seems like some of our people do Black empowerment for the cameras but make up excuses behind closed doors as to why they don't continue to support good Black businesses.

I love how Mr. Fuller Jr has been teaching our people about productive behaviors regarding combating racism.

Love this point. When you discover the peace that comes from empowerment it gets addictive. Even worries change. You go from worrying about how you're going to give your money away to them folks to constantly thinking of ways to sustain and benefit you and your family. Everything takes time but to have peace and security is priceless.
