I personally knew two hard core pretendians; One was a skinny white guy with reddish brown hair. He ended up making Indian beading and clothing props for the movies. The other friend admitted to the Dawes Roll $5 connection, but is currently a chief to a tribe in Northern Oklahoma. Neither guy had enough melanin to tan.

Some people just got busted somewhere. I think it was in Cali. They tried saying they were Natives to sell their handmade goods. Now they are getting charges pressed against them. Like I am all for people finding out their culture and heritage but don't pretend to be something you are not. Do a DNA test if you have to in order to get the facts straight. White people have culture (some bad culture from the past but I won't go there!), it is not anyone else's fault they lost it and replaced it with dumbfuqery.

I love that name though, "Pretendians". LOL I am def going to use it.
