Hi, I've done an connection speed test using my Netduma R2 and I am paying for 500 mbps, however, when I run a connection speed test on my PS4 it only gives me a connection speed at around 79 mbps. I've followed the instructions as close to what is instructed as possible. What could be the issue and how can I resolve it?

If you’re using WiFi and don’t have your ps4 hooked up with a cable, your speeds are going to suffer. I highly recommend hooking it up to your router for best results.

The funny thing about consumer wifi products is that you get bottlenecks if you have several devices connected to wi-fi in the same part of the house. If your computer,ps4,and phone are all on wi-fi in the same room they're dividing the resource. Try using the ethernet cable from your ps4 to your router port. You are going to get a better experience. PS4 has old wi-fi technology based on Wi-fi 4 & 5 generations. In other words,it's only going to go as far as the technology allows them to go.
Wifi has always been an issue for consoles. Even Xboxs suffer here. It isn't a PS issue, it is a console issues. For whatever reason, the wifi on consoles just isn't as reliable as a laptop or PC.
