Queen Elizabeth II died on Thursday as members of her immediate family, including her son and heir, Prince Charles, rushed to her side.
She seemed like she was going to live for another 96 years. She is like her grandmother (I think) Queen Victoria. Sat on the throne for decades.

I'll break down the Caribbean response in 2 categories doing all that crying. They either 1: older West Indians who remember a time when they were direct British subjects. Most of the islands got independence in the 60s, early to mid 70s. Some mofos stayed British (Bermuda...not technically Caribbean but moves like them, British Virgin Islands), they remember when they had lord Governors, actual white people in charge on behalf of the Queen. Them mofos crying for real and 2. Mostly younger, who just showing out, they think its a good look. Every Jamaican, without exception got a relative in the UK and America and to a lesser extent Canada (mostly in Toronto). There are more Jamaicans (descended) outside the island than in. Same with Barbados and Trinidad. The younger ones only know an independent Jamaica that is part of the British commonwealth but moved like they were independent. They like being part of the commonwealth because its easier to get to UK with their passport. Commonwealth privileges.
The ones with peoples in the UK will do that fake 'oh god, not the queen bullsh*t. I'm gonna go off an a tangent for a minute. Caricom the Caribbean organization is asking for reparations. They are building their case. Part of the demands is an apology for slavery. F*ck an apology, give up the bag. Now, I'm not saying they don't deserve reparations. They do, just like FBAs do and even colonial Africa does. However, their reasons are different than FBAs. Reparations in America is solely based on past wrong. The money isn't the reason but the treatment of blacks in America is. Specifically FBAs. Caricom is pushing for it because the islands are broke. They have sold off their land, beach front property, resources to outsiders and are broke AF and reparations is the only thing they got left to get out of debt. They haven't stated who gets it. There are many Chinese, Indians and some whites left over from colonial times there. My guess, they are not gonna give it al to direct descendants of slaves. My guess is the governments are gonna use it for bullshit. They will say education, so and so and ultimately do with it what they do with any money they get from tourism, etc, WASTE IT. I looked at the pages. No mention of who qualifies. None. That tells me, they are on some bullshit. Also, what about the Caribbean folks who live outside the islands, many born there and left as babies or kids, with their families to America, UK, Canada? No mention. My guess? They won't get shi*t.
