What are some games you guys and ladies have played that were relaxing to play? I have played a lot of games that I would say are relaxing. I think sometimes Madden can be relaxing if you're not playing with a pro. But I also find puzzle games relaxing. I played a lot of that Tetris Effect game recently, it was addicting, and oddly relaxing. I played a little bit of Minecraft, but couldn't deal with the enemies, so turned on creative and sometimes just built shit. It's like LEGOs in video game form. I loved LEGO sets as a kid, so it fueled that need without having to actually buy pricey lego sets as an adult.

I also played my share of the SimCity games. And even got into the Sims 3 years ago. Though I think it felt more like a chore, so didn't feel as relaxing.

What were some games that relaxed you?

Sims, Minecraft, Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing... Really anything that involves building, maintaining, or creating. I like games that allow me to play how I want and have the freedom to enjoy them in my own way. One aspect that I always enjoyed in certain games was building things. Had I not become a nurse, I would have gone after interior design or something in that realm for a career. I love designing, decorating, etc.

When I need to calm down, I usually find myself holding the trigger button down and airing f**kers out.
I also played The Sims: Life Stories and MLB: The Show.
Never played the sims life stories, but I did hear about it. And hell yeah, I used to play MLB: The Show all the time when I had a PS3. That game was awesome every year.
A classic. I remember beating it one year and thinking it was my biggest accomplishment. I was like 10 so yeah. lol

I heard about this one. But isn't it like a horror game? Not sure I'd call that relaxing haha, but I'll have to for sure check it out.

Great selection. My cousin keeps telling me to try Animal Crossing, says it's crazy relaxing to play and is fun too. I got played out from the building games after minecraft, but I always seem to come back to it eventually. I always come back to Minecraft every so often. idk building stuff is just so relaxing.

Yeah, same. I got burned out on it for a while but I always go back. It is nice to just sit back and make stuff. I heard it is on another level in VR but I have yet to try it that way.

Plague Inc. is another good one. At least I like it.

Yeah it's still awesome. in the last couple years they added an all new game mode called March to October where it's a cross between simulated and live game play. The team you choose for the season, you only play high leverage situations and if you succeed, then it gives you momentum and as long as you maintain hot streak momentum your simulated games will be victories, but if you fail a situation your momentum swings in the other direction and you go cold rendering those sim games losses. It's kinda cool how it works.

the only one in the trilogy I could not beat
Super Mario Brothers, Fester's Quest & Grand Theft Auto were the games that I stayed up playing all weekend with my children, back in the day. Now, I'm on casino & cross word puzzle games. 😁

I have to mention a personal favorite– Dark Souls.
While some might find it not so relaxing with the tough difficulty at times, something about the fact that there's no "pause" button makes it feel relaxing. Just make sure there's no bad guys around.

Also a classic from the good old Nintendo 64 days, Shadowman. VERY relaxing.

A good relaxing game typically has a nice soothing soundtrack to it in my humble opinion...

You can play other games and take out 20 enemies all at once. In Dark Souls, every single enemy will give you that work if you play sloppily. You live and die by the mechanics in that game.

XDDD jiggalaughYes. It can be that way sometimes. I remember once I gathered up something like 6,000,000 Souls, had saved them for a while. Then I left my controller and went away for a bit (to get a snack or something). When I'd returned I realized my crappy controller had the analog stick stuck and sent my guy running off a cliff repeatedly from the fire. There was just a bloody patch with 0 Souls upon retrieval! 😭🥲

    Especially with some mods!
bro, yes! I travelled to every single spot on the map on that game. It’s the only game I ever 100% completed. The different clans, the NCR, Great Khans, Mr. House, etc all made for a dope ass game. It’s too bad that Bethesda has been intent on running fallout into the ground. F4 was a flaming pile of crap.

Getting the power armor in the beginning of the game randodisbelief

    Power Armor needing batteries. randomdudeconfused

Raiders always being hostile no matter what disgustedbm

Having all dialogue paths end In the same result. snoopdisappointment

They turned fallout into a first person shooter.
