Sorry family for not coming on here to explain myself I just had a big discussion with my young niece 18 and nephew and realized I failed them as a black American only supporting aunt I share knowledge with them all the time and I thought they were soaking in that knowledge but yesterday I learned I was incorrect they are completely brainwashed by our school system they made me very upset of how disrespectful they were towards me laughing and mocking anything I said about America being our home how we are not Africans and how bad immigrants are especially the melanated ones I have even showed them proof but still got the typical America Is not our home it’s queen Elizabeths immigrants shoukd come here bc America is the land of opportunities and since we are immigrants too how can we denie them then proceeded to say we have no power in this country so why should we do anything and anytime I debunked these silly I was met with giggles so I calmly told her I will no longer help you with anything anymore since you value your immigrant friends more than yourself and let you learn on your own she was confused and said why am I no longer talking to her etc etc etc I’m still very angry from this upon many other things so I deleted most of the apps I have where I talk to them I got a message from my sister about an update on a woman who went missing who was k*lled by any Africa immigrant so I went to my Twitter to post it bc our people need to see these monsters real face I’m blavk America only and will never change that I don’t want or need that fake diaspora unity and anyone who tries to change my mind will automatically be labeled my enemy

We can’t save everybody at the end of the day. I think it’s righteous of you to try to educate them but you can only lead a horse to water. However, I think you do yourself a disservice dissing Africa like that. You’re going to get laughed at when you say we have no attachment to Africa when it’s clear as day when we look in the mirror. There’s a reason why they used Picks in Ancient Egypt and why I use a Pick thousands of years later.

You can love America and hate the system, the government, and corporate greed. You can also be thankful to live here while acknowledging the blood this land was built on. People think you have to pick one of the other, but that is not the case.

And bad people come in all shapes and sizes. We can't fall for white games and start throwing people in the same boxes because they have one thing in common. I know a few immigrants from Africa and they are some of the kindest, most respectful, and humbled people I know.

I understand that it’s still disheartening to know when I’m trying my best and about the Africans they sold humans and are still doing it to this day I don’t see them as my people and that is nit going to change they are different than us and it’s ok to not want to be associated with anything from them we are our own group have our own things you may like Africa I only like South Africans ahd I have my reasons

I never heard of African immigrants saying any of that stuff. What area are you from? I mean we don't have many here but I have had only positive experiences myself.

I mean I am aware that Africans sold their own people into slavery and I blame those people just as much as the white people who bought up our ancestors.

I have never known anything about this but if it is true and this has been your experience, I can't entirely blame you for feeling the way you do. I think I would be a bit put off myself. Having been to the UK, I can tell you black folks there are not like black folks in America. So I understand what you are saying. I would imagine Africans are even more different. I just had no idea they had hatred toward us.
