Square Enix sells off Tomb Raider, Deus Ex IPs and the studios behind them

I get why they likely did this, but I still find this news surprising. Games like Tomb Raider and Deus Ex series are expensive as hell to make I'm sure, so recouping the return on that investment is probably long and slow. That's not to indicate the games don't sell well because they obviously do, but at least now those games can have a real game developing studio behind them as opposed to the disorganized shitstorm that is Square Enix these days. Interesting to see what Embracer does with the catalogue of games their getting. Legacy of Kain and Thief are part of this acquisition as well, so this will be intriguing where both companies are concerned.
