Have you guys watched this show yet? It dropped recently on Netflix. I've watched the first 5 episodes or so, and I'm hooked. It's essentially about people who are in severe debt and are offered a chance to make a ton of money by playing kids games, but there's a twist, if you lose, you are killed. Reminds me a lot of Battle Royale, The Hunger Games and a few other movies/shows. Check out the trailer below.

Me too, it looks really interesting. Better than a lot of this assembly line TV thats been coming out. I can't count how many times I've seen the same show over and over but just with a different premise. It's like the treatment is:

• Day 1: 8 people in one house, leave them there all day with nothing to do and hope it turns into an argument, fight or romance. If neither happens, we can edit it to make it look like it happened.
• Day 2: They do a [insert a verb] challenge, loser gets kicked off the show. Everyone goes back to the house and we leave them there all day with nothing to do and hope it turns in an argument, fight or romance. If neither happens, we can edit it to make it look like it happened.
• Day 3: Start back at Day 1 and continue process until only one contestant is left.

You can replace the orange phrase with: tattooing, dating, cooking, gymnastic, or anything and the whole thing still works out.

I'm glad that I got to see Squid Game when it was first released, because I wouldn't enjoy it as much now.
Squid Game is best viewed if you go in blind, but spoilers, skits, and memes are all over social media.
