ANDROID is an OS (operating system) there is no "Android phone" android can be ran on a large variety of phones from a large variety of phone makers e.g. Samsung, LG, Sony, Asus, Motorola ect.
So actually your comparing Apples iphone to an android operating system, not an actual phone.
It's would correctly be iOS VS Android.

In fact everywhere in global market they promote like Android vs iPhone specially big markets where consumer numbers higher and they often promote Android phone is ultimate choice against iPhone because of margin they gets from sales.

Personally, I'm more focused on the smartphone which I'm using which have always been Samsung. Getting into the comparison between Samsung and iPhone is a complete watse of time for me because I think that I have far more important things to do that compare both brands. They are all good in their different ways.

Samsung seems to have dipped into a similar line as Apple though when it comes to smartphones. They are both out there giving us less and less for more money. Yes they are very over priced. My first apple product was a ipod and that was gifted to me, there was no way I was buying one at those prices. Then I was hooked on the thing..I never filled up the 64 gigs. We use everything here but I have to admit the Camera on the Samsung is a few steps ahead.

They were made from apple.com. My grandfather always said "The best always cost more" but $3599 for a 16" (not even the standard 17" screen) is crazy as all hell.

But why is it crazy? What are you comparing it to to determine it's crazy? Think about your drones. There's a drone that costs $10,000 more than the one you have but there are fit and finish differences. There's probably better software and controls and more horsepower. But if you compare the costs the one that is +$10,000 is more expensive but it's justifiably so". You either value the difference or don't, that's what you have with Apple. Apple makes extremely well designed, well built, and well refined products that work seamlessly with one another. If you value that, the price makes sense. But saying "oh here's a piece of shit windows computer that is 1000 less" is a bogus argument.

That's not the point though. The point is what are you comparing Apple products to in order to determine that they are expensive. Because often when you compare comparable Windows and Android devices to Apple products the prices end up being right in alignment. People that say Apple is expensive are usually comparing low end Windows and Android products to Apple which only competes in the Premium space.

Brother Jay? I agree. Hell I am typing this on my Imac and yes its the cats meow. But also next to that is a Dell Inspiron 5593 and Im very happy with it. Yes I said apple pricing is crazy I didnt say I wouldn't buy it.

I get what you are saying. You are paying for quality and brand, not just the object but there is no excuse for a monitor stand being THAT expensive. I don't know anyone who wanted that thing. Not for that price.

It is a personal thing. I have never liked iPhone from the first time I saw one and used somebody else's. I loved Samsung Galaxies from the frst time I held one.

That's true mate, if the the price is equivalent to the worth and the value you gain from it then it's not expensive but just priced to befit it's value.

In a way though, I think it's fair to compare considering Android is pretty much on everything, while Apple and their OS is only on one/two phones a year.

I get that there's Google Pixel, Samsung, and all these other brands that use Android, but if it's the same OS for the most part on all of these devices, I get why people would compare the two. Android and Apple, though they should compare the OS side of it and not Apple itself, but iOS or whatever Apple phones use.

But yeah, if you want to compare specs, then that's when the actual phones come into play.
