Did you all hear about this recently? Supposedly a lot of creators on Twitch, most being people of color and I believe they're also targeting the LGBT community. Basically what happens, is that people will be streaming, and a mass of messages will pop-up saying racial slurs, and homophobic remarks. Twitch is being called out for not taking care of this faster, and rightfully so, there's no excuse for this taking so long.

I've started to dislike twitch as of late because of how awful they run things. I hope they block out these bots soon, because people are being hurt by this big time. And it needs to stop.

Twitch Needs To Do Better at Stopping Hate Raids

Marginalized creators on Twitch have been exceedingly targeted by hate raids, so Twitch needs a better approach for keeping its streamers safe.

Yup. You get called all sorts on multiplayer games. I remember the CoD days. My younger sister played it as well and they were sexist as hell to her. At the time she was only 15 too. Some people just don't know how to not be dumbasses. I don't take it to heart or let it affect me. When you do, you let them win.

That’s so true. I’ve been called a lot of different things on games but I don’t let it get to me. They don’t deserve the energy and I’m not going to let them stop me from enjoying whatever I want. Hopefully enough people push Twitch to do something about it though, there’s no reason why they can’t put a stop to it.
