Museums take years to develop if they are worth a damn. He got an excuse to take a long time, but he don't know shyt about operating one and they cost money to run.
1 million is nowhere near enough money to open a good Museum.
He wants to raise $6M more. He said this is just the beginning. Let’s see if he does it.
I think the $1M could go far in a scaled down project. We have a great Black Military History museum that is in a warehouse and it's gorgeous. The monthly expenses are very manageable and since it's rented, no property tax.

Tariq got a helluva track record delivering. The number of movies and projects he's delivered on is why he is as big as he is. He's banned from the UK....for no reason. And given the close relationship often called 'the special relationship' between the UK and America, its very possible that it was done at the behest of the government based on him being very 'political' as they say. Snoop being banned was about non political thing. He's been 'swatted', visited by the FBI....twice. Is it possible there was no FBI visit? Of course. Is it likely or logical based on what we already know? I'd side with no.

That's a fact. NYPD must release 2,700 documents on surveillance of Black Lives Matter activists, or say why it can't: judge. It's a fact the government has the major tech companies spying on all of us, setting people up. The governor of Michigan assassination plot was initiated by a government agent. That's a fact.
So, we accept all this and what the government is capable of but them obstructing a march isn't possible? That's a bit too much? Er...ah..okay. White folks have been proven over and over again, to stop blacks from doing anything. Even lawfully getting a gun. Law abiding, clean backgrounds. Yes he has a great track record but that doesn’t mean we cannot discuss him cancelling the March.
Tariq is not a charity, we support this guy. I have money to every single project and bought them after release.
I can comment on anything he does. I can appreciate his out put without venerating him.
I am all for discussing him canceling the march. No one said it shouldn't be discussed, myself included. The reasons why he is canceling it is what is being discussed. What is in question is if he had good reason to or not, or specifically the likelihood of the government stalling it. It's an election year as well.

I don't know for a fact and neither does anyone else. I am saying the MOST LOGICAL scenario, based on 1. what we know about the government and its reach. 2. What we know about Tariq (he has a history of delivering and has no history of making up stories like this) 3. previous government harassment of him and of blacks who have a large grassroots following speaking similar messages, makes the scenario of government interference the most logical scenario.

How disingenuous to paint your assumptions as the “logical” opinion and everything else as hate.
Tariq has a a great track record with movies and shirts which is not to diminish him but just because he makes movies doesn’t mean he is going to follow through on everything.
We do not know if the government shut him down or not and if they did then we know there is a limit to how far he will go.
You can still organize & go. The same way white folks didn't need one man to organize them to storm the Capital, we don't need one man to organize us, either. We have access to the same internet that Tariq has. We don't have to keep being the only race that needs a leader to direct us.
Well, actually there was kinda one man. Trump talked about going to the Capital building days prior and there were groups and organizations who coordinated going after getting signaled from Trump. Fortunately, the January 6th investigations is now revealing just how coordinated it was. Also, how they believed they would be pardoned if they did anything. It wasn't impromptu. You don't bring zip ties, military clothing and gear, for no reason.

Anyway, the bolded part above shows where you're wrong. There were already organized groups in place WHO WERE ALREADY HAVING A "STOP THE STEAL" RALLY AND INVITED DONALD TRUMP TO ATTEND. Trump did not call for that rally. If you're going to be loud, at least be correct. Furthermore, I only used Jan. 6 as an example. We've had organized marches, protests, rallies, riots, and rebellions in this country that didn't need a social media influencer's input. We can have another.

Umar is one of the best speakers. He obviously comes with baggage but I think at heart he means well. He's got an ego and a little narcissist but he is inspiring when he talks. Both have some aspects of their personality, etc people take issue with (and well documented on this site).
