This nigga is gonna get slaughtered trying to debate with Tariq.
I doubt there will be a debate. Tariq and Ak meeting up is about each of them reaching new audiences, building their brands, and raising their Q-ratings. They'll play nice, get some views on YouTube/Twitch, and (hopefully) end up on TMZ Hip-Hop.

I'm going to need for Tariq to give Candace Owens that work for muttering "He (Tariq) is an absolute idiot."

When is the DJ Akademiks puppet coming out?
When are we going to get some Candace Owens Candy with raggedy edges and split ends?

DJ Akademiks is too much of a coon to care about being called a tether. Even if he did care, he's only one man. Checking him doesn't help us in the least.
This interview isn't about that, though.
These two will have a conversation, get their jokes off; and if Ak is gone off the Henny, he may let Tariq call him a tether.
The endgame is clicks & views (don't get it twisted, I'll be watching too). The main reason these two are linking up is to get introduced to cross promote to each other's audience. It's the same reason Akademiks had 6ix 9ine, Wack 100, Hasaan Campbell, etc. on his show. It's all entertainment. Controversy creates cash.

Or how J Cole dissed Lil Yachty and Lil Pump on his song "1985." That song was one of the coolest disses I heard in a minute and reminded me of the days when MCs used to call out other MCs, fools, clowns, and frauds. Then after Lil Pump got mad, J Cole decided to meet with him and do very friendly a sit-down / interview on video and basically became friends at the end. Like wtf? That beef wasn't real? I felt played.

I lost a lot of respect for J Cole after he pulled that BS.

Now I didn't want a deadly rap beef where someone ended up dead unjustly, but damn it I only wanted a good rap beef that would either kill careers or at least set things straight. Imagine how different hip hop would be right now if we had enough legends, icons, and veterans calling out the BS, the culture vultures, and BS 'artists.'

How many times do you think we will see a Checkmate?
Over and over. But the checkmates mean jackshit if Black Americans don’t build. We need to be constructive and be engaging in commerce and collaboration with one another.
