I hope this is a wake-up call for parents who think sending their kids down this path is a healthy one.

These people are out there screwing up children's bodies and getting paid big bucks for it. Other countries and areas are rolling this back and shutting down programs since the light was shed on this abuse.

One of the kids is 15. Tried to off herself multiple times. She has severe arthritis (with other disabilities) and is in constant pain from the medication. She was put on hormone blockers from ages 10 to 14 to be a boy and now she has a bleak future of pain and misery.

A controversial NHS clinic that led the way in prescribing puberty blockers to children who questioned their gender is being shut down.

The gender identity development service at Tavistock & Portman NHS trust will close next spring after a review found that it was not a “safe or viable long-term option”.

The clinic in north London has been accused of rushing teenagers into life-altering treatment on hormone-blocking drugs. Legal experts said the trust could now be sued by patients who felt they did not receive the right treatment.

Care will be handed over to children’s hospitals, which the NHS says will offer a more “holistic” approach with “strong links to mental health services”. From now on under-16s will be given puberty blockers on the NHS only as part of a clinical trial, allowing data to be accrued on their long-term effects.

The Tavistock clinic has been overwhelmed by a 20-fold increase in referrals in the past decade, leading to “unacceptable” waiting lists. More than 5,000 children were referred there last year, compared with 138 in 2010-11.

It's insane how we live in a society that openly experiments on children in these kinds of ways. I'm sure that in the next 10-20 years, people will look back in shock and tell haunting stories of the hormonal and surgical procedures done on supposedly transgender kids. It needs to be highlighted that the LGBT community has no vested interest in the wellbeing of kids and families.

I shivered when reading this. Gush! I can't even wrap my head round the rationale parents give their kids this kind of liberty to express their sexual preferences when they are not even 12. I mean, what will make a little daughter of mine feel that she was meant to be a man? Their lives have been destroyed by these hormones and I feel bad about it.

This is a travesty. Nothing new under the Sun. They have always experimented on us. This latest iteration is disgusting since they are not only using kids but trying to reprogram the evolutionary process. The wickedness of this land is too much. This country will receive its recompense one way or another.

Exactly!! You hit the nail on the head. They know it's a dysmorphia and are willing to treat it as if it's a physical ailment. The notion of agreeing with someone who thinks they were born in the wrong body is absolutely wild, and that's why they can't even describe how that works.

Atleast allow this kid get to 18 when you can comfortably let them make their own decisions other than imposing something on them and performing terrible experiment on them all in the name of transgender kids. It's just so disheartening.

Most kids don't feel comfortable in their own bodies at some point, especially girls. I know when I was around 12/13, I certainly didn't. This is normal but these days they tell kids it is because they are in the wrong body. This is why so many little girls are trying to become boys and there are more trans men than women. It never used to be like this. That and they placed so much pressure on women to be career driven and successful that I think it is hurting them mentally and emotionally.

This is so 😢, I wonder why they can't allow these kids to be kids. Sometimes parents are to blame when a child feels he wants to be a female or she wants to be a male, some parents do throw it at their kid's face that they wish the son was a girl or the girl came as a boy,talks like this can lead to the child not wanting to identify with his God given gender. I'm glad these clinics are closing down. So sad for those who have being damaged.

They are allowing children to suffer. I blame the doctors and the parents but most, I blame the governments for funding it and pushing it like it is safe when they know damn well it is causing children to suffer.
